Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan Biography
Born to parents Dina and Michael in New York on July 2nd 1986, Lindsay Morgan Lohan (known as “Linds” to her friends) is the eldest child in her family. She also has three siblings – Michael, Aliana and Dakota.

She was a childhood star beginning her career as a model at only 4 years old. She also acted in adverts including Pizza Hut and Wendy’s. Her childhood acting career continued to build appearing alongside David Letterman in 1993 in a Halloween skit. Things remained fairly low key however.

Then in January 1997 she got her big break – cast in a re-make of the major film, the Parent Trap. Lindsay was to play both the parts herself and she pulled it off well, catapulting her onto the world stage.

The film won her an award for Young Artist Award for Leading Actress and two nominations for a Young Star Award and Blockbuster Entertainment Award respectively.

Lindsay was given the chance to move into TV in 2000 on a sitcom named Bette however when the show moved to California she decided to stay in New York. It wasn’t such a bad decision though as nobody liked the show and it soon found itself in the waste paper basket of low viewing figure TV shows.

She continued her movie career with a part in Get a Clue in 2001 and Freaky Friday in 2002 (with the film coming out the following year) acting alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. By the end of 2002 Lindsay was expanding her career again by moving into music and scoring a five record deal.

Lindsay continued to do films in 2004 with Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls with has earned Lindsay some of her strongest recognition to date - Celeb State.
