Amy Studt has never been one to follow the mainstream and latest pop fact. She would be rather more interested in the latest Marilyn Manson or Korn single.
Her childhood was played out in Bournemouth, England where her intestest in music grew from. Her daad was a violinist and her mum was head of a schools music department so music to her was a way of life. “Music was something that was always there,” she says. “I can’t even remember getting into it.
At 13, she decided not to move on to the same strict school as all her friends, but to attend the area’s rival school instead. “At that school you got a lot of freedom,” she smiles wryly, “and with freedom, things start getting a little bit more interesting."
